Evolve yourself as you
Transform others
As the 21st century continues to bring rapid changes, human, educational, and employment needs are becoming increasingly complex. Thus, a profession in guidance and counselling is also evolving into a multifaceted career to be able to support the social and emotional well-being of individuals and communities and help them thrive in such environments. The Master of Guidance and Counselling (MGC) program provides advanced academic and practical training in the professional discipline of counselling, which is designed to meet the developmental needs of individuals pursuing a career in counselling, as well as those seeking to develop important interpersonal skills in other professions.
Associate Professor of Counselling at James Cook University, Singapore,
President of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
The MGC course prepares graduates to become professionally equipped counsellors in a variety of industries. Alternatively, those not wishing to pursue the professional counselling route can advance professionally via enrichment of their people skills, knowledge, and self-awareness to become more empowered personally and professionally within their contexts of choice.
